A villain's maniacal plan for world domination sidetracks five teenage superheroes who dream of Hollywood stardom. It seems to the Teens that all the major superheroes out there are starring in their own movies-everyone but the Teen Titans, that is. But de facto leader Robin is determined to remedy the situation, and be seen as a star instead of a sidekick. If only they could get the hottest Hollywood film director to notice them. With a few madcap ideas and a song in their heart, the Teen Titans head to Tinsel Town, certain to pull off their dream. But when the group is radically misdirected by a seriously super villain and his maniacal plan to take over the Earth, things really go awry. The team finds their friendship and their fighting spirit failing, putting the very fate of the Teen Titans themselves on the line. Teen Titans Go! is one of the more enjoyable shows I've gotten to experience with my kids. A real treasure after years of Paw Patrol and Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and the like. But thinking of a Teen Titans movie did cause a considerable amount of unease. The group was very enjoyable as a brightly colored, hilarity filled, twenty minute sugar rush, but I felt like pushing that to ninety minutes was a very risky proposition. Sugar rushes are best in small doses, right? So I had a low bar. Of course, I had a low bar when I saw The Lego Movie, too, and look how that went!<br/><br/>This is no Lego Movie. The Lego Movie had, beneath its zany exterior, a wonderful sweetness. Inside the heart of TTG!TtM there's a lot more cynicism. But it's still absolutely hilarious, start to finish. It's simultaneously predictable and totally out of left field. Both the poop jokes (and, not unexpectedly, this movie has diarrhea of poop jokes), and the big kid jokes land spectacularly. The best sequence in the movie would be funny even to individuals with no pop-culture or comic book knowledge, and to individuals with those things it is a hysterical bit to be treasured. This DC movie does not maintain the snooty, holier-than-thou attitude usually erected between Marvel and DC. Neither side is shown mercy. DC finally acknowledges that in the last decade it has committed too many sins of gritty bleakness, and TTG!TtM is its colorful, shiny atonement. At first glance, This movie looked a little grim from the teaser. But as i saw the whole movie, It made more sense too me and my friends. <br/><br/>Surprisingly, this movie was really hilarious and very-well structured. This movie actually had a plot!!!!!! Well, a good plot that actually made sense. Also, Every thirty seconds there would either be a superhero joke or a song. In my opinion, this movie was more of a mini-musical. <br/><br/>However, One of the biggest surprises is during the end credits that has to do with the original Teen Titans!!! So being a 90's kid, That really made me excited and hyped out to see what happens next!<br/><br/>But if you're a fan of TTG and looking for a movie to watch while Winnie the Pooh and Dracula are entertaining audiences, then definitely watch this movie! Even if you're not a fan of TTG, This movie will open your eyes to what the newest generation of kids have created!!!! Although obviously geared to the small fry who will no doubt eat it up, Teen Titans Go! To the Movies will provide many laughs for their adult chaperones as well.
